Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH-CET LAW) is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission to law courses in various law colleges across Maharashtra. The exam is conducted for two programs: • 5-Year Integrated Law Program: For students who have completed or are appearing for their 12th standard examination (LLB program integrated with BA, BCom, or BSc) • 3-Year Law Program: For candidates who have already completed their graduation (LLB program) MH-CET LAW scores are accepted by government, government-aided, and private unaided law colleges in Maharashtra for admission to law programs.

Eligibility Criteria

5-Year Integrated Law Program

  • Candidate must have passed 12th standard (HSC) or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates from Maharashtra)
  • Maximum age limit: 20 years for general category (22 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates) as on the first day of July in the year of admission
  • No minimum age limit

3-Year Law Program

  • Candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates from Maharashtra)
  • Maximum age limit: No upper age limit
  • Minimum age: Candidate should be 20 years of age as on the first day of July in the year of admission
