Overview

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH-CET Law) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB programmes in law colleges across Maharashtra. For 2025, the exam pattern has been revised to 120 questions to be completed in 120 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

For MH-CET Law 5-Year LLB (Integrated)

  • Passed or appearing in Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination
  • Min aggregate marks: 45% (Open/EWS/OMS), 40% (SC/ST of Maharashtra state)
  • No upper age limit

For MH-CET Law 3-Year LLB

  • Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream
  • Min aggregate marks: 45% (Open/EWS/OMS), 40% (SC/ST of Maharashtra state)
  • No upper age limit
